Sarah Lo
Sarah is an actor based in New York. She hails from the fog and redwoods of the East Bay Area in Northern California. After attending the University of Chicago, where she studied Chinese History and Theater, she worked as an actor in Chicagoland before training at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale, where she will receive her MFA in Acting in May 2026.
Sarah fell in love with performance through dance. She began training in classical ballet at the age of five, followed by training and performance in Chinese Folk Dance styles, contemporary, fusion, hip-hop, jazz, k-pop, street styles, and improvisation. Most recently, she trained with choreographer and movement director Jennifer Archibald at Yale.
Sarah believes that stories keep us alive, that storytelling and our quest for meaning is the basis of our humanity, and that within that humanity we find inexpressible beauty and truths singular to the human experience. Most of all, she believes that in bringing stories to life we find connection, which we very simply cannot survive without.
