resumé

Prior to completing her MFA at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale in 2026, Sarah acted on stage, film, and television in Chicagoland and across the US.

In Chicago, she appeared at The Second City in their holiday sketch and improv show Deck the Hallmark, at the Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook in Murder on the Orient Express, and at the Victory Gardens Theatre, among others. She was in Nia DaCosta's Candyman, as well on television in Netflix's The Chair, HBO's Station Eleven, and NBC's Chicago Med.

While at Yale, she played Hermia in Elm Shakespeare's Bollywood-inspired A Midsummer Night's Dream. She also trained with the School at Steppenwolf summer conservatory.

Sarah excels in transformation, embodied character movement, ability and adaptability in dance technique, dialect work, and collaboration. She loves to discover characters with her collaborators and gets really nerdy about it.

Sarah speaks Cantonese fluently and Mandarin conversationally. She has combat and Chinese Opera martial arts experience, and is a mezzo-soprano belter.
